Robbie Brown joined Nicholson & Anderson in 1992 and became Office Manager for the firm in 1996. She has over thirty years’ office experience with twenty-two years in the legal field, including the South Carolina Department of Corrections and law firms in the areas of criminal defense, civil litigation, family court, bankruptcy, real estate, workers compensation, social security disability, personal injury, estate planning, and probate. Robbie is a native of Abbeville and has been married to Wayne “Scooter” Brown since 1977. They have four grown children and three grandchildren. Kathy Watkins McDaniel joined Nicholson & Anderson in 1996. She works as receptionist and a legal assistant to W. H. Nicholson, III on criminal cases. Kathy is a life-long resident of Greenwood. Cheryl Simmons is a native of Greenwood, SC and has been married to Benjy Simmons since 1975. She has worked in the legal field for more than twenty years in a variety of areas including criminal defense, civil litigation, family court, bankruptcy, real estate and workers’ compensation. She joined Nicholson & Anderson in 2000 and works as a legal assistant for W. H. “Billy” Nicholson, III and Lena Y. Meredith handling social security disability, personal injury and civil litigation. Debbie Grubbs joined Nicholson & Anderson in May of 2009. She works as legal assistant to J. P. Anderson, Jr. She has worked in the legal field for over thirty years either in a paralegal position or in the position of Administrative Assistant to a Family Court Judge and a Circuit Court Judge. She has experience in domestic relations, civil litigation, probate, real estate, and estate planning. Debbie enjoys the outdoors, cooking, entertaining, and spending time with her family.
